Respect:
Being respectful of fellow members is important for having a good discussion. However, this board is not intended to be a game of “who’s your daddy”. Platitudes of appreciation are not necessary here. Opposing viewpoints are welcome. An interchange of information and perspectives is the goal. You the member are entitled to have an opinion and allowed to defend your viewpoint, while at the same time respectfully sharing the forum and engaging in discussions with those that may see things differently.
Banning
In general, banning will not be permanent. For the most part a banning will be a relatively short “time-out” tool that the mods have at their discretion to restore order and do not necessarily imply blame upon those who have been given a time-out. However, recalcitrant conduct will result in longer time-out periods.
Links
It is not the job of mods to police every post and threaten to censor your expressions if you forget to include a link. However, when relaying information that you heard, saw, or read elsewhere, it is only polite to give credit to the author and source of your information. If a member asks for a link, more often than not, it is out of appreciation for the information and quality of writing by the author and is a request for assistance in retrieving ancillary information. We hope that you will be polite and comply with such requests.
Free Speech
Expressions made by members may not necessarily reflect the views of the moderators of Rams Enthusiast; nevertheless this discussion board is not a venue to discuss anything and everything.
The 1st Amendment might prohibit Congress from placing restrictions on individuals for making expressions of bigotry; however the 1st Amendment does not prohibit this discussion board from denying a venue for that type of speech. Hence any attempt to grind bigoted agendas toward individuals, groups, or lifestyles will not be received kindly.
And neither is this website intended to be forum for pornography, hence photographs and writing of explicit sexual nature are forbidden. Posting links or information for/about external pornographic sources is forbidden. Also, using this website for the purpose of acquiring contacts or partner(s) for cyber-sex, phone-sex, and/or meet-ups for sex in person is strictly forbidden.
